About Me

Hi!

Are you here to learn English? Well, how convenient! Because I'm here to teach you!

My name is Olga, and I'm NOT your typical teacher. Since 2013 I've been living in the best place for practising the language - England! - learning real English that British people actually speak. I wanted to share my knowledge and my love for all things English with the world, so in 2017 I acquired a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).

All of my lessons are tailor-made to suit your goals and interests. You can expect a warm and friendly atmosphere, fun activities, and lots of effective language learning techniques and tricks. We will listen to songs, watch YouTube videos and TV series, and work on your pronunciation - none of that American nonsense, only the Queen's English ;)

What to expect from my lessons

I offer conversational English lessons with a focus on pronunciation and everyday vocabulary. You can look forward to learning lots of new idioms, handy expressions, and popular slang words that will make you sound more natural.

On our first lesson, I will assess your level of English and prepare a personalised program that will target the gaps in your knowledge. To avoid wasting time during lessons, I'll be giving you the necessary materials and exercises to study new grammar as homework. At the next lesson, we'll practise in conversation what you have learnt.

The lesson plans will be based on your interests. For example, if you are into cooking, we can analyse YouTube tutorials with delicious recipes; if you love watching TV series, we'll discuss your favourite episodes... You get the idea :)
